Gamers Tech Guide is free to read and carries no subscription. The site is funded by affiliate commissions, and this page explains exactly how that works so you can judge our recommendations knowing what sits behind them.

When we link to a product on Amazon and you buy it, Amazon pays us a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be without our link. Amazon does not tell us who bought what, and the commission is paid by Amazon out of its own margin.

Where you will see this disclosed

What the commission does not buy
No manufacturer, retailer or brand pays for a place on this site, and none has ever been offered one. We do not accept payment for a review, a ranking, or a mention, and we do not run sponsored posts dressed as editorial.
Commission rates differ between product categories, which creates an obvious temptation to steer readers toward whatever pays best. We do not rank on that basis. Where a cheaper product is the right answer, we say so, and our guides regularly recommend the least expensive option in a category.
How we choose what to recommend
Products are selected against published criteria that appear in each guide. In practice that means a minimum customer rating, a meaningful number of reviews behind that rating rather than a handful, verified availability, and a check on who is actually selling the item rather than assuming it ships from the retailer.
We exclude products that fail those tests even when they would earn well, and we name what we excluded and why inside the guides themselves.
Prices and availability
Every price on this site was accurate at the time it was checked, and each guide states when that was. Prices and stock change constantly and we cannot guarantee any figure remains current. Always confirm the price on the retailer page before you buy.
